What do you mean by “using my own bot”?
This means you will not use our default bot. Instead, you will create your own application in the Discord Developer Portal and configure your Discord bot on our website using your own bot token. This allows you to use your own branding, avatar, and bot name.
Do I need to configure anything else?
Yes. You need your Discord bot token. Twitch notifications need Twitch API credentials, and YouTube notifications need a YouTube API key. Kick notifications use public endpoints in this version.
Are my token and API keys secure?
Yes. Your bot token and API keys are securely encrypted. We take security very seriously and follow high standards to protect your credentials. In our documentation, we also show you how to configure your bot with restricted permissions, so you do not need to grant any dangerous or unnecessary access.
